CONTRACK Wins the Nowkuński Award Once Again Read moreFrom October 8–10, 2025, we had the honor of participating in Mobility Congress 2025 – one of Poland’s key industry events bringing together experts in public transport, urban infrastructure, smart mobility, and emerging technologies for the cities of the future. The event gathered representatives of local governments, transport operators, infrastructure manufacturers, and providers of innovative solutions – serving as a platform for sharing experiences, showcasing technological innovations, engaging in strategic debates, and building professional networks.
October 9 – Industry Presentation and Debate
On this day, our experts – Dorota Błaszkiewicz-Juszczęć and Grzegorz Leszczyński – delivered a presentation titled “Innovative Technologies in Tramway Pavement.” They discussed current challenges in the maintenance and construction of tram tracks, as well as modern materials and structural solutions implemented by Contrack – including prefabricated slabs and technologies designed to minimize the duration and disruption of track works in urban environments.
The experts also highlighted the benefits these solutions bring to cities and operators, such as reduced maintenance costs, improved travel comfort, and fewer disturbances for residents. Their presentation concluded with a case study of one of our latest projects. Following the talk, an engaging discussion took place, during which participants exchanged experiences and asked questions about the practical application of the technologies presented.
During the congress, visitors also had a final opportunity to see our prefabricated crossing slab with an integrated rail and warning lighting, demonstrating how modern solutions can enhance the safety and comfort of tramway crossings in urban environments.
That same day, an industry panel discussion dedicated to tram turnouts took place, in which Michał Matysiewicz actively participated, sharing the company’s experience and providing insights on the development of tram track infrastructure.
