Maintenance

Prefabricated track slabs are designed to reduce maintenance costs throughout the entire life cycle of the investment. A key factor influencing operational efficiency is their durability and ease of replacement.
Prefabrication under controlled production conditions ensures high quality and repeatability of element parameters, which directly translates into their durability. Structural and material solutions are selected depending on the intended application of the track, expected loads, and environmental conditions.
Additionally, in the case of tram and railway infrastructure, the durability of prefabricated slabs significantly exceeds the lifespan of the steel track components, enabling long-term operation.
A key feature of the system is the possibility of independently replacing individual components without dismantling the entire track structure. CONTRACK technology allows maintenance works to be carried out in a targeted and phased manner.
In practice, this means:
the possibility of quick replacement of a damaged element;
limiting the scope of work to the location of the damage;
reduced duration of maintenance works;
no need to shut down larger sections of the network.
Works are carried out in a weekend mode (up to 72 hours), minimizing the impact on infrastructure operations.
