At TRAKO 2025, we were once again honored with the Eng. Józef Nowkuński Award — this time for completed linear and structural projects, as well as new rail infrastructure investments carried out in Poland in the infrastructure category. The jury recognized our rapid-track reconstruction project at Plac Zawiszy in Warsaw, delivered in cooperation with KZN Rail.

During the 15th Railway Congress in 2024, we received the Green Railway Award. This distinction recognizes our efforts toward the sustainable development of the rail sector. Our technology enables precise planning and reduces unnecessary material consumption, lowers the social costs of construction works, and limits emissions generated during infrastructure projects.

The award was granted for the development of a comprehensive prefabrication technology for tram track structures — CONTRACK. It was in 2023, at the TRAKO International Railway Fair, that we premiered the exhibit: a prefabricated CONTRACK tram turnout.

This innovative product integrates three key elements of tram track infrastructure: the steel track structure, prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs with rail channels, and a polyurethane material for continuous elastic rail fastening.

In 2025, the KZN Bieżanów Group, which includes CONTRACK, was awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, confirming that we operate in line with international standards of sustainability, social responsibility, and business ethics — and that we do so at a level higher than most companies.
