About the product
The CONTRACK prefabricated narrow-gauge crossing is a crossing surface system designed for installation at intersections of narrow-gauge railway lines with public roads, internal roads, and pedestrian routes.
The solution has been developed with the specific characteristics of narrow-gauge infrastructure in mind, including varying track gauges, geometric constraints, and the operational requirements of tourist, heritage, and industrial railway lines.
Construction
CONTRACK prefabricated narrow-gauge crossings are individually designed, taking into account the track gauge, rail type, road category, and expected operational loads. The use of high-grade concrete and appropriately selected reinforcement types (traditional, hybrid, or composite) ensures a structure resistant to long-term эксплуатация.

Modernization and maintenance
CONTRACK technology is particularly effective in modernization projects, where minimizing interference with existing infrastructure and completing installation as quickly as possible are key priorities. Rails embedded in the prefabricated crossing slab can be replaced without dismantling the concrete surface, extending the structure’s service life. Rail replacement can be carried out in weekend mode, without interfering with the slab structure.
The system has been designed to reduce the scope of maintenance works and lower operating costs throughout the entire life cycle of the infrastructure.
