Contrack at TRAKO 2025
CONTRACK will once again be present at Poland's largest rail industry trade fair – TRAKO 2025 in Gdańsk from September 23-26, 2025. This is a unique opportunity to meet our team, learn about the technology, and see for yourself the innovative 10-meter-long (panels up to 17 meters long!) prefabricated crossing with integrated rail and warning lights , which we will present together with the KZN Bieżanów Group at our outdoor stand – TZ11.

Prefabricated crossings – technology proven in practice
Contrack technology is a unique solution that combines a steel track structure with precast reinforced concrete slabs and flexible rail mounting. This allows for the rapid and precise laying of tracks, almost like building blocks.
This technology has been tested in challenging urban conditions, including during construction at Zawiszy Square in Warsaw , one of the capital's busiest tram hubs. The use of prefabricated modules allowed for:
-
reduce the duration of disruptions threefold – from the typical 3 months to 5 weeks,
-
ensure high quality and durability thanks to individual design,
-
ensure double quality control by a) checking the geometry of each slab after its production, b) trial laying of slabs from the entire implementation stage
Let's meet in Gdańsk
At our stand, we'll be showcasing a finished prefabricated crossing, and our specialists will discuss its construction process, delivery logistics, and the practical benefits of its use. This is a chance to see up close a technology that's truly transforming the way track is modernized and constructed.
We invite you to TRAKO 2025 – let's meet to talk about the future of rail infrastructure with CONTRACK!
---
At this year's trade fair, CONTRACK technology was presented in its most natural form – not as a concept, but as a real, ready-made infrastructure solution.
In the outdoor space, visitors could see a full-size prefabricated tram crossing constructed using CONTRACK technology. This display format best captures the character of the system – based on prefabricated components that can be quickly and precisely installed without lengthy fieldwork. The presented module – equipped with an integrated rail and LED lighting – was the starting point for discussions about one of the technology's key advantages: the ability to conduct track work in a very short time, even overnight. In the context of heavily used urban spaces, this translates into a significant reduction in disruptions for residents and public transport.
The practical aspect of the solution generated significant interest. Instead of visualizations or models, trade fair attendees could see a real infrastructure element – exactly as it arrives on construction sites. This approach led to numerous conversations with city representatives, contractors, and designers seeking technologies that can accelerate and streamline track investment projects.
For CONTRACK, participating in TRAKO 2025 was, above all, an opportunity to engage directly with the market – to discuss, exchange experiences, and present technology in its most practical form. We thank everyone who visited our exhibition and took the time to speak with us. These meetings best demonstrate how significantly the approach to building and modernizing tram infrastructure is changing – and how important prefabrication is playing a role in this.
