Mobility Congress 2025 - Innovative technologies in tram surfaces
On October 8–10, 2025, we had the honor of participating in the Mobility Congress 2025 – one of the key industry events in Poland, bringing together experts in public transport, urban infrastructure, smart mobility, and new technologies for cities of the future. The event brought together representatives of local governments, transport operators, infrastructure manufacturers, and suppliers of innovative solutions – providing a platform for exchanging experiences, presenting technological innovations, strategic debates, and networking.
October 9 – Industry presentation and debate
That day, our experts – Dorota Błaszkiewicz-Juszczć and Grzegorz Leszczyński – delivered a presentation entitled "Innovative Technologies in Tram Tracks," in which they discussed current challenges in tram track maintenance and construction, the modern materials and construction solutions used by Contrack, including prefabricated slabs and technologies that minimize the time and inconvenience of track work in urban traffic. The experts also outlined the benefits for cities and operators, including reduced maintenance costs, improved travel comfort, and reduced disruption for residents. They also presented a case study of one of our latest projects. The presentation was followed by a lively discussion, during which participants exchanged experiences and asked questions about the practical application of the presented technologies.
The congress also provided the last opportunity to see our prefabricated crossing plate with built-in rail and warning lighting, demonstrating how modern solutions can increase the safety and comfort of tram travel in urban spaces.
On the same day, an industry debate on tram switches took place, in which Michał Matysiewicz actively participated, sharing the company's experience and commenting on the development of tram tracks.
