Intersystem Insert
CONTRACK inter-system inserts are designed to integrate track sections constructed using different technologies or modernized in stages.
Instead of creating a point of contact "on site," the module is designed as a well-thought-out system element that ensures a seamless transition between various design solutions. This element enables the creation of a welded connection between the turnout's steel surface and the main track surface.
This is particularly important in investments where new sections of infrastructure connect with existing track systems.

The inter-system insert module is a prefabricated structural element adapted to the conditions of a specific investment and the type of systems being connected.
- individually designed for geometry and technical conditions
- integrated with the track system and supporting structure
- adapted to various construction technologies (e.g. prefabrication – traditional track)
- compatible with CONTRACK technology on the section covered by the investment
The design ensures geometric and functional continuity of the track.
To enable adequate access and comfortable work of the welding team, the length of the intersystem insert is minimum 1 m, maximum 8 m.
All elements of the insert are connected in a dual manner – mechanically (steel anchors) and chemically (with a carefully selected anchoring material). The assembled inter-system insert is then integrated with the steel track section using a polyurethane material for continuous, elastic fastening of the rails.
The inter-system insert can be an element dividing the track into established maintenance/traffic management zones, thus ensuring the possibility of carrying out track work in stages - without the need to close the entire track section.
