Kraków - Al. Solidarności

In August 2025, the next phase of tram infrastructure modernization along Solidarności Avenue was completed in Krakow, including the tram crossing near the Kombinat junction. Work, which began on August 18th, included the comprehensive replacement of track components – including switches, crossings, and control systems – as well as the construction of new surfaces around crossings and pedestrian crossings.

The use of CONTRACK technology significantly accelerated the work – installing the slabs and restoring the tram crossing took just a few days, which was crucial in a high-traffic area. Furthermore, the prefabricated solution limited the scope of wet work on site, shortening the infrastructure's downtime and minimizing disruptions to residents.

Construction took place in August 2025.
