Poznań - Forteczna I - Poznań turnout system using CONTRACK technology

The installation of two prefabricated turnout elements, made using hybrid technology, using specialized gantries without the need to remove overhead lines, while maintaining traffic on the adjacent tram depot tracks? All this is possible thanks to CONTRACK technology and was implemented at the Forteczna Depot in Poznań.

The Poznań project was divided into two stages. In each stage, prefabricated turnout slabs were laid on a prepared subgrade. After leveling, they were grouted with a mineral material with increased strength. In the next stage, the turnouts, manufactured by Kolejowe Zakłady Nawierzchniowe "Bieżanów," were installed in their final location and integrated with previously installed slabs. On this occasion, the CONTRACK technology and the related construction and logistics work were presented to a wider audience of industry experts.
